Smile as a Start for world-wide Peace

The goal, the past and the future

The goal of World’s Greatest Smile is to give people from all over the world the possibility to state together that there is willingness for an intelligent and peaceful international communication.

During the last year we worked on providing more resources for peaceful communication including language ressources and useful links to international knowledge.
Besides we worked on the development of a
workshop and games for children and adults, so they can learn teamwork and friendly communication in a playful way.

And during this  year we are going to intensify our work on the World’s Greatest Smile in many ways.
Now because we life in Canada since a short time, for the first time we organize the World’s Greatest Smile – Day living in North America, trying to learn more about other cultures, ways of thinking, languages and much more to make the World’s Greatest Smile project more efficient.

Important Supporters
Among others fourteen Nobel Price Laureates - including Nobel Peace Price Laureate His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama - support the project. Furthermore UNICEF and UNESCO Goodwill Ambassadors and many more celebrities from sport and entertainment use their function as role model to make people think about more friendly and peaceful solutions this way.

Why a Smile...?
Smiling is without distinction of any kind, such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status.
Therefore Smiling is
international and an intelligent start of communication.
And so we use as a symbol one of the least common denominators of communication - a smile.
