		the annual World’s Greatest Smile - Start with a Smile - Day January 25^th

	The goal of World’s Greatest Smile - Start with a Smile - Day is to give people from all over the world the possibility to state together that there is willingness for an intelligent and peaceful international communication. Smiling is without distinction of any kind, such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status. Therefore Smiling is international and an intelligent start of peaceful communication. And so we use as a symbol one of the least common denominators of communication - a smile. Very Important Participants And among others nineteen Nobel Price Laureates - including Nobel Peace Price Laureate the Dalai Lama - support the World’s Greatest Smile! Furthermore politicians Goodwill Ambassadors from UNICEF and UNESCO and many celebrities from sport and entertainment used their function as role model to make people think about more friendly and peaceful solutions this way. Click here for the list of very Important Participants (VIPs)! In the World’s Greatest Smile - Days so far people from more than 130 countries participated officially registered! The participation in the World’s Greatest Smile - Start with a Smile - Day is a symbolic act, just needs a few moments, and you can take part wherever you are on that day because participation is not attached to a certain place! So smile at January 25^thfor a moment - as long or short as you wish and wherever you like to, you don’t even have to leave the house to participate. More efficient is your participation if you even smile in a group, for example your business, your school or any other gathering of people. Let us know where we can download a picture of your Smile, we might even publish it on this WGS website! It is a symbolic smile to express the wish for a friendlier communication and we wanted to make participation as easy as possible to enable everybody to take part. And so it is really very easy to do it. And if you do it right, you’ll have a lot of fun as well!
